During the past 2 months,

- I got new specs

National Patrol Camp is finally OVER.
Finally. DHS Crane Scouts - GOLD.
zz. Lost to Catholic high once again, but second placing is not bad.
After one month of trainings, the camp is finally over.
NPC was seriously slack. Leisure Camp. The welfare was just o.o. Ice cream on first day and Soft drinks on subsequent days. The sub camp challenges were cancelled and that gave us a hell lot of time for Camp D.
It was a great experience, learning from the good schools and seeing other schools that made NPC look like a survival camp.
Weather was good, Campsite was good(not muddy at all), Sub camp cheif was great, welfare was great. Not considering the fact that i didnt bathe for 5 days, and the fact that i got 50 or so mosquito bites, NPC was a leisure camp.

The real holiday starts now.

Back from japan, and back to NPC. zz.

Japan trip was fun. Holiday finally seems more like a holiday in Japan.
Wasabi ice creams, jap food, maple leaves, shopping, disneyland, hot springs and crazy tour guide.
Seriously too lazy to type.there's still NPC time trial tmr.

Another day of scouts.

Started off with drill practice and the badge test today.

DRILL 2 PASSED. that's good. another one down to advance scout standard.

Drill was imba tiring. Our contingent did at least 4 sets for the drill 3 ppl to pass.
At least we passed though. which was satisfying.

next was NPC training.

Continued from the failed attempt of the kitchen tent last saturday.
the first attempt today was shitty...Time consuming, frustrating. In short, total failure.

After the shit work, we finally had lunch at 3. Starving. zzz
THEN
Guoxiang method- "Friction lock" was what we tried next.
Briefed us with google sketchup while we were having lunch. Felt very proessional.
Was able to visualize much better after looking at the sketchup.

Took another 1.5-2hrs to get the frame ready. Face was sunburnt and me and brendan were looking like lobsters afterwards.zz. After a hell lot of measurements, including sean's sudden fetish to measure perpendicular lengths, the " MOMENT OF TRUTH" finally came. 5 mins was all that was needed to raise the 2 frames and lock it together. Perfect.
Was very satisfying to see the self supporting kitchen tent finally up after two failed atempts.

Golf was shit today. frustrated with my noob shots. havent played for one year and my nine iron was shit.
100m with nine iron and pitching wedge. sucks. gonna play mor often now that it's the holidays. no excuses, my dad's forcing me to play. my aim's to be able to play in the green by next december? i hope so... im have no talent in this.

screw eoys. finally over. scrwd it. but who cares. its marking days now. staying at home doing nth is seriously just boring.
Finally went out together with brendan, daniel, jk and sherwin for bball and bowling. My bowling seriously sucks and i combined with daniel.
our score was like 60+ which is totally pathetic while jk got a friggging high score of 200 today. Bowling's addictive though. Got my first strike in my life after my 5th game in total.

Exercise regime - marking days
Day 1- swam 500m. i know it's little, but the real reason for swimming is to tan my white back.
Day 2- Skip rope- 1000x + bicycle crunch - 200x.
